CHANGING OUR NAME FROM FLIP N FIT TO PIVOT PERFORMANCE WEAR

>>> EXPANDING OUR BRAND:

We have been dreaming of expanding our brand and adding a women’s line for some time now. We cannot tell you how many times we have heard a mom say, “I wish you had something in my size!” We took this to heart and decided it was about time! We were already working on a fresh new website and decided this was the perfect opportunity to change our name and give the brand an updated look and feel and broader reach.

>>> THE NEW NAME: PIVOT PERFORMANCE WEAR

Coming up with a new name was quite the challenge. So many girls are diversifying their athletics to not only gymnastics, but acro, partner acro, tumbling, cheerleading, rhythmic gymnastics, dance, yoga, and the list goes on. We realized that many of our items can, and were, being used for not just gymnastics and flipping, but rather any sport or activity that involved movement. Stretch fabrics are not just for gymnastics wear these days. Many of our prints and designs could easily appeal to active women as well! These high-performance fabrics are used in a wide variety of clothing styles for many different sports and activities for many different ages. We didn’t want to leave our gymnastics roots behind in any way, but rather just pivot our appeal to a broader more inclusive group of females and activities.

>>> WHO IS PIVOT:

Pivot Performance Wear is a small family owned and operated business, that creates unique athletic wear and apparel, designed by a mother-daughter team, for moms and daughters (and women and girls no matter what your title). Our exclusive styles have the comfort and quality of a “designer label” without the bank-breaking price. We are based in San Diego and have been operating in the Southern California region for years.

>>> WHAT IS PIVOT ABOUT:

STYLE: Let’s be honest, if it isn’t cute, you won’t want to wear it, no matter how comfortable or high quality it is! We design pieces and select fabrics that we ourselves (or our best friend) would want to wear on repeat. Athletic with an elegant twist. Items that are fashionable yet sensible enough to be worn to everything from gymnastics class to yoga or a daily Target excursion. Who isn’t wearing their yoga pants to Target these days?

COMFORT: For any female, we know comfort is key! We feel and select each fabric, with the hopes that our basic yet dynamic pieces will be your new favorite go to. With prior participation in gymnastics, cheer, dance and yoga, our female design team provides us the experience and knowledge necessary to understand the way children's and women’s athletic wear should fit.

QUALITY: If our designs are going to be your new favorites, we know that will have to last and they do! We maintain complete control over our product throughout the entire production cycle, which ensures the quality of our products. With proper care, our gymnastics leotards can be passed on to other gymnasts or siblings once they are grown out of. Sometimes even several times!

This brand is our baby. We started it from the ground up many years ago and have slowly grown it into what it is today. Our hands-on personal touch allows us to be innovative in our product design and flexible in our customer service. We believe in maintaining an extremely high level of customer satisfaction and will do our absolute best to accommodate your apparel needs.

>>> FLIP N FIT RETURNS, EXCHANGES & GIFT CARDS:

If you have a return or exchange no need to stress, we are still the same company so we will still be accepting Flip N Fit items according to our policies from before our name change. Have a Flip N Fit gift card? Again, no problem! Your gift card information is still in our system and does not expire even under the new Pivot name.
